it's about darn time...
...that i updated my web site and pestered all of you with my self-indulgent hobby. :)
hello everyone! it's been far too long since my last email and i finally did something about that. the biggest, and probably most anticipated thing is probably all of the asia trip pics. well, they're finally on the web site! not all of them, but the vast majority of them. all of the digital pics are there and that accounts for about 85% of all of the pictures i took that can be posted to the web (i'm not counting the 70+ 3d pics that just can't be scanned or viewed properly on the web). on the index page for the asia pics, 3 days have no pictures at all. two of the days have pics, but i've not scanned them yet and clicking on those days will yield broken graphics or 404 errors, so don't click there. :) read more...

ugh! i'm such a lazy slug!! you wouldn't think playing games and drinking frozen cappuccino's all day would keep a guy so busy but somehow it does. :)

2 grand openings in 1 little email
hey everyone!
after weeks and weeks of beauracratic entanglement and bribe-ridden delays, the big day has finally arrived!!
the coffee house is open! technically, yesterday was the sneak preview day and all drinks were free. things started a little slow but around lunch people started trickling in and we sold a few sandwiches and snacks, in addition to free coffee drinks. the evening crowd has so far been steady. about half the people coming in sit and talk for a few minutes instead of just getting a drink to go. once word spreads a bit more, i think the store will have a great future. read more...

2 weeks of blathering in one little pill
hello all!
well, it's been a busy and event filled 2 weeks since i last bothered you all with my self absorded ramblings.
actually, only two things have really happened in all that time. first, my ultra slacker friend steve dietrich flew in to visit last weekend. the theme of the visit was apparently to eat until thouroughly stuffed, as that's what we did everyday he was here. the capper was the sunday brunch at the marriot. i was duely impressed with the amount of food that steve was able to pack away. he's told me that with his family "it's all about the food". well, he proved that at brunch. read more...

a new life = a new email address
hello all!!
well, it's been another week or so and i wanted to update you all on my new permanent email address and things in general.
first, the new email address... it's jester@myhorriblelife.com. this is a new email/web site i've set up that will follow me around for the rest of my life. i thought it was time i finally got a permanent home on the web and this is it. of course, there's no web site yet at that domain, but it's in the works. but the email is set up and working great. please switch over your address books to use this email. i'll continue checking my yahoo email ThatWeirdoGuy@yahoo.com to get all the stragglers. read more...

there is life after compuserve :)
howdy everyone!!
just thought i would send out a little note updating all my friends to the current status of their favorite unemployed bum. :)
i'm now situated in new orleans, after a few weeks of running around visiting friends & family in cleveland and chicago and getting all packed up and moved out of columbus. the bulk of my stuff is in the basements of my wonderful parents (thanks again mom & dad!) and me, my playstation 2 and my vcr are now set up and working in my room in new orleans. read more...
